As I ventured from my house to my car on September 13th the bitter cold stung my skin. It was actually the first time since March that I had to scrape off ice from my windshield. I shuddered a little when I thought of how cold I might be by the end of the day. I had worried a bit about the weather on this day the night before, but Google had told me to not worry, that it would be 70 degrees by the afternoon. Still, the weather in Colorado is unpredictable and Google has lied to me before. But either way, rain or shine, I knew the events of the day would be fun.
