SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DIABETICS
The Guild of the Children’s Diabetes Foundation offers higher education scholarships to young people with Type 1 Diabetes who are patients at the Barbara Davis Center. This year we will be giving 25 scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each. They may be used for jr. college, universities, or trade schools.

DIABETES ALERT Our country is headed down a costly, and dangerous, path – leading to 1 in 3 adults having diabetes by 2050. Next week, Diabetes Advocates from across the country will be in Washington, D.C. to meet face-to-face with their Members of Congress to explain the daily challenges facing people living with diabetes. They will tell their lawmakers that federal diabetes research and prevention programs are critical in the fight to prevent and treat diabetes – and to find a cure.
