June 2: Cancer Survivors Day (National)

This is a HUGE day and is meant to show that life after cancer examination can be a reality.  This day is an achievement for those has survived and an inspiration for those who have been recently diagnosed and also support and outreach to the community. It is traditionally celebrated on first Sunday of June.  I personally… I mean my master Jon knows many people affected by this, so this is a great day of celebration.

June 4: Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day (National)

National Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day falls on first Tuesday in June.  It is also a way to promote contribution healthcare recruiters to make their organization.  These people hire the people that read and use our medical bracelets YEAAA!

June 23-29: Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Week

Last week of June is known as Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Week. This week the deaf-blind community reminds us about people who are deaf and blind and that you can overcome it!   I personally being a dog can only see in a few colors so I like this week!

    Aphasia Awareness Month

Aphasia impairs your ability to process things such as the ability to talk and understand others.  It is also common to experience a hard time reading and writing.  Being a dog I have a hard time reading and writing too  … but I’m working on it.   For more info contact National Aphasia Association 1-800-922-4622

    Scleroderma Awareness Month

Scleroderma is an autoimmune disease where immune system attacks its own body. Scleroderma means “hard skin.” Scleroderma Foundation has been brawling to spread awareness and also educate the people and community about this disastrous disease.  You can contact the Scleroderma Foundation at 1-800-722-4673
