Hey friends, how are you? This is Burton again your favorite blogging shop puppy. What a lovely evening it is today. This week is going to be really busy for me. Of course it has to be. How can I miss it? The Emergency Medical Services Week is going to begin from May 19th to 25th, 2013. And so I have started my duty to educate as many people as possible. Every year a new theme is selected. This year’s theme is Emergency Medical Service – One Mission, One Team.

Especially in this week, we realize the terrific role EMS professionals play to protect health across the nation. In 2011, EMS specialists were able to help more 36 million patients. They tried to provide all possible care from the location to the emergency unit or hospital. They assure that best medical care is available to patients anytime and anywhere.

EMS is an important part of the health care system that is competent enough to respond in disasters and health crisis. In such situations, various EMTs, paramedics, supervisors, nurses come along and try to give necessary care.
